Element Swimming was founded by Dominik Vavrečka and
has been pushing
the boundaries of Czech training since 2019.
Dominik is an athlete through and through. He applies the experience
gained during his competitive career at the Ostrava Swimming Sports
Club and his studies in Brno to his daily work with athletes.
He is a multiple medalist at the Czech National Championships and a
participant in European and World Championships. He currently works as a
coach at the University Sports Centre Victoria.
His goal is to share up-to-date knowledge and help everyone develop
their potential. This is how Element Swimming
was created.
Sports training in swimming based on modern knowledge from the world of swimming and supported by many years of experience.
We respect your individuality, on the basis of which we will set the most suitable type of training for long-term sustainable results.

We offer you the chance to become part of our professional team,

your training approach to their individual needs. Together,
we will achieve great results and help people swim faster, better,
and with confidence.
Contact us and tell us why you should be our next outstanding swim coach.
No, you don't need to know how to swim. We work with clients of all skill levels – from complete beginners to advanced and competitive swimmers.
Our team is made up of coaches with different specializations. Some focus on teaching complete non-swimmers and beginners, while others help experienced swimmers and competitors fine-tune technical details and improve their performance.
That's why we can always match you with the coach who best fits your needs, level, and goals.
First, we'll talk together about your goals, previous experience, and what you expect from the training.
We'll then assess your swimming technique and focus on the areas where you can improve the most. Throughout the lesson you'll receive ongoing feedback, and at the end you'll get recommendations for further training.
For your first lesson, you'll just need swimwear, swimming goggles, and a towel.
We often use a kickboard and fins during training too, which we're happy to lend you if needed.
In most sessions we also work with a front-mounted swim snorkel, one of the most effective tools for improving swimming technique.
For hygiene reasons, we recommend that each client has their own snorkel. If you don't have one yet, we're happy to recommend a suitable model or provide a new one directly.
A standard individual lesson lasts 60 minutes.
For complete beginners or non-swimmers, however, we often choose a shorter session of around 45–50 minutes. Swimming is physically demanding and engages almost the entire body, so a longer lesson can be very tiring for someone who is still getting used to the water.
We always adjust the lesson length to the client's abilities, experience, and current needs.
Yes. Lessons for pairs are one of our most popular services.
We train partners, siblings, friends, or parents with children, for example. Training together is more cost-effective for both participants while still keeping the high quality of an individual approach.
By arrangement, we also organize training for three or more people. In these cases, a dedicated swim lane is usually required, which can affect the total cost of the service.
We regularly train in Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Opava, Olomouc, Prostějov, Mladá Boleslav, and Plzeň.
Thanks to our network of coaches, we can also arrange lessons in other cities, such as Hodonín.
If we don't yet operate in your city, don't hesitate to contact us. We try to find a suitable coach for every interested client and help arrange quality swimming lessons as close to their location as possible.
We try to match every client with the coach who best fits their needs, goals, and circumstances.
Based on your inquiry, we assess your experience, swimming level, availability, and any special requirements.
We have coaches who specialize in children, complete beginners, adult swimmers, and performance or competitive swimming.
We also take your scheduling preferences into account – for example morning sessions, evening lessons, weekend slots, or a preference for a male or female coach.
The pace of improvement is very individual and depends on your goal, how regularly you train, your willingness to work on feedback, and your current swimming level. In general, the more of a beginner you are, the faster the first results tend to show.
With complete beginners or non-swimmers, we often see a noticeable improvement after just the first lesson – for example greater confidence in the water, better breathing, or basic technique improvements.
With more experienced and performance swimmers, we work on details such as stroke efficiency, body position in the water, stroke rate, or the underwater phase. These changes require regular training and time for the correct habits to gradually become a natural part of your swimming.
Yes. We prepare both hobby and competitive athletes for swimming competitions, triathlons, talent assessments, admission exams, and physical tests.
We always tailor the training to your goals, current performance level, and availability.
No. The lesson price doesn't include pool admission. We operate in various pools, each with its own pricing and entry conditions.
Most of our clients use a MultiSport card, for example, or pay for admission separately according to the current price list of the specific pool.
Yes. You can give a swimming lesson or any of our other services as a gift voucher.
In the Voucher section of our website, you'll fill out an inquiry form that gives us all the information we need to prepare the voucher. Based on the details you provide, we'll create the voucher to match your requirements.
The voucher covers only the swim coaching service and doesn't include pool admission.
If you've received our voucher, simply click "Book a session" on the website and fill out the inquiry form.
At the end of the form you'll find a "Voucher code" field, where you enter the unique code shown on your voucher. Using this code, we can match the voucher, verify its validity, and prepare the lesson or service you're entitled to.
We'll then contact you with a suggested time and coach.
